Indian über-violinist, composer and recording artist Sharat Chandra Srivastava teamed up with American jazz musician, composer and producer Dennis Dreith (who is not a stranger to this label himself) to create a unique blend of jazz and world music in an East-Meets-West tour de force featuring an international cast of stellar musicians. The result is nothing short of astonishing.

I have long been a friend and fan of composer Alan Derian, whom I met through a mutual friend at one of Mark Northam's Film Music Network events back in Nineties when I was still working for Christopher Franke. He is a highly underrated composer, whose "SHREDDER" soundtrack is one of the best horror scores I have listened to in a very long time. In fact, its "Main Title" is so good that we have included it on the first volume of our upcoming "TEARS IN RAIN" anthology. Get it. You won't regret it.

When Swing band leader Eric Ekstrand told me that he used to be in a Punk band in the 1980's, I didn't believe him at first. Then I saw the videos on YouTube... Through acribic digital archaeology and meticulous mastering we were able to salvage five of the songs and release them for the discriminating connoisseur of fine and weird Punk on a specially-priced digital EP. You HAVE to check these guys out!

Our third album from Miriam is out today and available for download and streaming on all digital sites. The documentary feature tells the story if Georgian author Flannery O'Connor and how her writings have influenced everyone from Tommy Lee Jones to Alice McDermott and Conan O'Brien. The film was directed by Elizabeth Coffman and Mark Bosco and has won several awards.

From the Go-To-Composer for documentary film scoring comes the release of her latest effort: The pensive and melodic "Til Kingdom Come". “As for the sound of the score, my notes from director Maya Zinshtein were to create an unsettling mood that runs as an undercurrent, while the film itself is fairly objective. I love creating subtle turbulence with rhythmic string patterns and chamber instrumentation—I had so much fun,” adds Cutler. Available on all DSP's.

Sorry, folks, North of the border. Thanks to the wonderful USPS who just raised its rates we were forced to increase the shipping rates to Canada to $10.00 per order. The good news is that the postage within the US and to other international destinations stay the same. Makes no sense, I know.

The new Eric Ekstrand album "So Hott!" will be released digitally on April 10th, 2020. This is the Ensemble's fourth release and perhaps its most unusual. A mixture of songs long in their catalog and new material written within the last two years. 12 songs; 11 originals and one cover make an exciting journey into music some have called "Big Bad Punk"! After all, Ekstrand was a punk rocker back in the Eighties, and he imbues that energy into his Ensemble's big band swing sound. The songs are catchy, well produced and just a hoot to listen to. You won't regret downloading this fun album... Very entertaining.

In collaboration with MovieScore Media in Sweden we are very happy to release the physical album of Don Davis' "The Matrix Symphony", a re-recording of the concert versions of the three suites arranged and conducted by the master himself. A thrill ride!

"We recorded keyboards in my studio, sent it to New Dehli to record table and violin, then back to LA to record Vinnie Colaiuta on drums, then sent the track to Scotland to have Steve Forman record percussion in Glasgow, then back to LA to record a Slovenian pianist and a Slovenian vocalist. If this does not qualify for a Grammy in the World Music category, I don’t know what will." - Dennis Dreith (co-composer & producer).

A wonderful and haunting song featuring many talented musicians from around the world.  Breathtaking!
